AGENCY FOR NATIONAL HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT
is looking for a candidate to fill in the position of:
Senior Scholarship Administrator – Scholarship Unit Band 7
Main purpose:Assist the Assistant in the management and development of the National Human Resource Development Plan and strategy framework
Duties & Responsibilities include participation in:-
- Oversee the placement and management of students on tertiary training;
- Oversee the payment of tuition and allowances for students on tertiary training;
- Oversee the processing of applications for GOS and foreign funded scholarships;
- Oversee the management of Bonding Agreements and acknowledgement of debt;
- Prepare debtors list for outstanding parental contributions, bond defaulters and student loans;
- Participate in scholarship selection process and Administer bonding agreements to students;
- Oversee and coordinate the preparation of the tertiary training budget;
- Coordinate the provision of statistics to the Management Information Systems Unit;
- Collaborate in Career Education Programmes organised by the Section;
- Participate in Labour and HRD activities organised by the Ministry for Labour and Human Resource Development;
Qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management/Business Management/Administrations or relevant field plus five years relevant work experience
- Diploma in Human Resource Management/Management/Business Management/Business studies or relevant field plus seven years relevant work experience.

- Ability to encourage and motivate people and to ensure teamwork
- Interpersonal skills that enable you to work with people at all levels and motivate others
- Possess analytical and critical skills.
- Leadership, Supervisory, Organisational, planning and time management skills
- Coaching and mentoring skills
- Effective communication, negotiation and presentation skills
- Report writing
- Computer literate.
